The Building Inspector shall have the authority to enforce this section. Upon written request of the Planning Board, Board of Appeals, Select Board, or any resident, the Building Inspector shall investigate and respond to complaints related to conformance with this bylaw and any permit issued hereunder. Said response shall be in writing and made within 30 days of receipt of the complaint and shall be given to the complainant and permit holder/applicant/owner. For the purposes of this section, each week of non-action shall constitute a new violation.
A fine of twenty-five dollars ($25) shall be imposed for failure to remove a temporary sign within the time allowed for removal following the completion of work, end of event, or other period permitted by section 5.2.
A fine of fifty dollars ($50) shall be imposed for failure to repair, maintain, or remove a sign for which the Building Inspector has given notice of necessary repair or maintenance in accordance with section 4.2.
A fine of fifty dollars ($50) shall be imposed for failure to remove any sign determined to be abandoned by the Building Inspector. Compliance shall be the responsibility of the site owner.
